School Solicitors Symposium Call for Presenters

PSBA legal services staff and the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association (PSBSA) seek presentations for the 2026 PSBA School Solicitors Symposium to be held July 16 – 17 at the Nittany Lion Inn. This is a two-day immersive seminar offering both substantive and ethics-based continuing legal education (CLE) credits to practicing attorneys licensed in Pennsylvania.

PRESENTATION INFORMATION:

  • All sessions, unless a special request is made, are expected to be 1 hour long.
  • Proposals should include:
    • Names and titles of presenter or presenters (no more than three per session)
    • The title of a proposed session
    • A concise summary (one to two paragraphs) outlining what attendees can expect to learn from the session
    • A short biography of presenter(s) identifying experience in the relevant subject area
  • All presenters must submit written materials for attendees pursuant to PACLE rules. Written materials may include handouts, PowerPoint presentations, or information sheets. Written materials must be submitted to PSBA staff on or by June 12, 2026, for inclusion on the website. Any information received after this date will be updated based on availability.
  • Paper copies of presentations will not be provided to attendees. All information will be accessible on the conference website.
  • Only PSBSA members in good standing are eligible to submit a proposal.
  • PSBA reserves the right to edit information for publishing. This includes editing for clarity, brevity, and accuracy.
  • Selected presenters will receive complimentary registration for the symposium. Hotel fees and travel expenses will not be covered.
  • For sessions featuring more than one speaker, presenters must be from the same firm unless exception is granted by PSBA staff.

Deadline for submissions is February 27, 2026. PSBA staff and the PSBSA Board of Directors will determine selections shortly thereafter. On or by March 31, 2026, applicants will be notified by PSBA staff if their proposal is accepted.
