MECHANICSBURG, Pa., July 8, 2024 – Today, the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) announced the revamp of PSBA Communications Services, which was established in 2019, in partnership with The Communication Solutions Group.
For school leaders, communicating effectively and developing a trusted relationship with their community is an essential part of the role. Through a partnership with The Communication Solutions Group, PSBA member districts receive 24/7 access to PSBA Communications Support at no cost to the district.
When a crisis or time-critical event occurs, this service helps districts identify the stakeholders in their audience, determine appropriate and effective communications methods, and create, revise and finalize agreed-upon communication. Support begins with a phone call or email and concludes when the district leadership distributes approved communication to key stakeholders.
This service may be requested by districts to handle numerous matters, including physical and cyber security matters, personnel announcements and crisis or time-critical incidents involving students.
