In 1982, PSDLAF (The Fund) was created specifically to assist local governments (local education agencies and municipal entities) in the commonwealth to help manage their investment needs. The Fund provides local governments multiple investment programs, in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Act and Section 521 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949, as amended (the “School Code”). Additionally, PSDLAF has maintained Standard and Poor’s (S&P) highest credit rating of AAA since the foundation of the Fund.
