Amy Goldman

Amy Goldman began her eighth year of service on the Radnor Township School District School Board in December 2022 and her second term Board President.  Amy served two terms as Board Vice President. Amy has been very active as a parent volunteer in Radnor schools for nearly twenty years including as a PTO president and member of the Radnor Educational Foundation’s Grants Committee and Board of Directors. Amy has also participated in several Radnor Township School District Community Committees including those for Strategic and Comprehensive Planning, Technology Integration, Student Wellness, and College and Career Readiness. Since her election to the School Board in 2015, Amy has served on all five School Board Committees and was Chair of the School Board’s Policy Committee and Government Relations and Communications Committee for multiple years. Amy is in her third term as the volunteer PA School Boards Association’s Sectional Advisor for Southeastern PA. In addition, Amy has served as RTSD’s elected board member to the Delaware County Intermediate Unit and as Co-Chair of the Delaware County School Boards Legislative Council. Amy completed a nine month Fellowship Program with Pennsylvania’s Education Policy Leadership Center and served as a Board Member of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Recently, Amy served on the PA Department of Education’s Committee on Education Talent Recruitment and the PA Joint State Government Commission’s task force on Adolescent Sleep and School Start Times. Prior to her volunteer service, Amy was an Account Executive in television advertising sales at 6ABC in Philadelphia. She holds a B.A. degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. Amy and her husband Jim have two children. Their daughter is a 2017 graduate of Radnor High School and their son is a 2019 graduate of The Haverford School.
