Sectional Meeting 2: Perspective on Public Education in Harrisburg and Washington

Everything that we do in public school is legislated and affected by our federal and state governments. Join Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf for a discussion on his budget and perspective of public education. The governor’s budget has allowed for greater discussion of public education funding challenges. At this meeting, attendees will discuss his proposals and more. The PSBA Government Relations team will be on hand to provide an update concerning state Capitol efforts and to provide a report from PSBA’s Advocacy Day. Hear how school districts are reacting to the current pandemic and get details from the latest PSBA State of Education report. The association’s federal lobbyist in Washington, DC, will also provide key insights into the actions and future efforts of PSBA.
