Strengthening Adult Competencies
Participants will learn how to strengthen their own SEL competencies and how to support other adults as they navigate the stress and changes of education during the pandemic and moving forward.
Safe2Say Something Update
With two years since the implementation of Safe2Say Something, the Attorney General’s Office will provide an update on the program and an overview of what has been learned since implementation.
Threat Assessment Update
Act 18 of 2019 created a new section of the School Code establishing requirements for school entities regarding threat assessments. The new requirements take effect for the beginning of the 2021-22 school year. Attendees will review the required elements for threat assessment, resources available from the state, and information on the upcoming training and technical assistance available through the state's School Safety and Security Committee.
