New School Directors: Monthly Exchange

January's presentation topic: The Governance Team of 10
As a new school director learning to be an effective member of your Team of 10 takes time. To facilitate the process, New School Directors Monthly Exchange will focus on helping you better understand relevant topics such as school board governance, school law, school finance and board policy. The first 30 minutes of each virtual session will feature a presentation on a relevant topic, with time to ask questions. The presentation will be followed by discussion in breakout rooms organized by geographic region, to review that session’s information and network with school directors from your area. Exchanges will take place via Zoom on the third Thursday of each month, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., January-November 2022, with a break in July.
