Before Jessica Garrigan was a Learning Executive at Apple, she helped to implement a successful student learning program in Lancaster, PA with iPad. In this session Jessica will describe the core elements of a mobile learning environment and will answer questions about how Apple can help support your own local initiatives.

About the Speaker
Jessica Garrigan is an Apple Education Leadership Executive, working with school leaders to leverage technology to transform learning. Prior to Apple, Jessica served for 15 years as a middle school English teacher, school leader, and Coordinator of Instructional Technology for the School District of Lancaster in Pennsylvania, focusing on providing equity for all students, particularly English learners and students with accessibility needs. Over the past 10 years, she designed and implemented a systematic plan for technology integration in her high-poverty district to ensure over 12,000 students and teachers had access to technology to transform learning through creativity and empowerment.
Jessica holds a Masters in Education Leadership from Cabrini College, a BSE in English Education from Millersville University, and an ESL Certification from Penn State University. In 2017, Jessica was awarded the Women in Technology award for Central Pennsylvania.
