This webinar offers an open discussion with Dr. Kristen Swanson, chief of staff at Slack, who has been working at the intersection of learning and technology since her days as a Pennsylvania public school teacher and administrator. She offers advice on creating digital learning communities from her work with teachers, administrators and business leaders.

About the Speaker

Dr. Swanson currently serves as the chief of staff for customer experience at Slack, where she synthesizes customer insight and drives customer-facing strategy. Prior to Slack, Dr. Swanson worked at Google, BrightBytes and a software-focused private equity firm. Before working in tech, she spent more than a decade as an educator and school leader. She’s passionate about transforming how people work and grow every day. A lifelong educator, Dr. Swanson also co-founded Edcamp, an organization that brings free, organic professional learning across the globe. In 2015, Edcamp was named one of the 10 most innovative companies in education by Fast Company. Dr. Swanson has published three books on learning design, and her work has been featured at TEDx, Educon, PBS Newshour and more.
