Essentials of Board Leadership Webinar Workshop Series
January 13 – April 14, 2021
Being elected to board leadership demonstrates the confidence and trust of board colleagues. The board president has responsibilities that are different than those of any other member of the board, and the vice president supports those responsibilities in various ways. PSBA is here to support board presidents, vice presidents and superintendents as they serve and lead PA public school boards. Join us for a four-session series of workshops exclusively for leaders in these positions. Each of the four workshops will cover a different aspect of board leadership and will offer 75 minutes of professional development. In each session attendees will hear from experienced board leaders through a panel discussion followed by smaller breakout room discussions among attendees from across the state.
This series will correspond to the four foundations of board leadership responsibilities as articulated in PSBA’s newest publication, Essentials of Board Leadership available on myPSBA beginning January 13. For participant safety, these digital workshops will replace the annual Board Presidents Panel live event held at locations across the state. To download your complimentary member copy of the Essentials of Board Leadership, visit myPSBA.
Board leaders are encouraged to register for each of the four sessions—choose from either the noon or evening time for each. To register for the workshop times that work best for your schedule, click on the links below.
