Regions, Departments and Affiliates
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
Membership in PSBA is by school district or other eligible local education agency such as intermediate unit, vocational school or community college.
PSBA divides the state into 15 geographic governance regions:
Presidents of these five departments are elected by their respective memberships.
Affiliate: Service Associate Members
Our SAM members are a vast network of industry experts and venders who provide products and services to school entities. SAM membership is available to eligible individuals and business firms offering consulting services, financial services and products to public schools and other PSBA membership. Service Associates do not sit on PSBA’s Board of Directors.
