Global cyberattacks are increasing at an alarming rate. For many school districts, it is no longer a matter of if they will be targeted, but when and how often they will be attacked. While tools are available to assist with detection, prevention and mitigation efforts, many schools lack the financial resources to develop a robust cybersecurity apparatus. Fortunately, federal and state governments are making significant investments in assisting public sector agencies with their cybersecurity efforts. In addition to being aware of the available funding, including $1 billion in grants available through the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, agencies need to fully understand how they can leverage these monies to improve their cybersecurity posture. On September 14 at 2:00 p.m., join Grants Office and special guests from Recorded Future and Carahsoft for “Survive and Thrive,” a free webinar about the latest solutions to monitor and prevent threats in real-time and how schools can leverage grant funding to make vital security improvements.
