Joanna McClinton (D – Philadelphia) about her experiences as a history-making legislator. In 2018. Rep. McClinton became the first woman and the first African American to be elected as House Democratic Caucus Chair, and in 2020 she was the first woman to be elected as House Democratic Leader.
