On average, daily substitute teachers in Pennsylvania were paid $105 per day for 2020-21. Of the 485 responding Pennsylvania public school districts, 462 reported a daily rate. The most frequent pay rate (mode) and the median pay rate are $100 per day. The minimum reported rate is $78 per day, and the maximum is $160.
