Recently, the Wolf administration, in coordination with the COVID-19 Vaccine Joint Task Force, announced that orders on targeted mitigation and the public school attestation will be lifted on May 31, 2021. These updates to the mitigating orders will not prevent school districts and municipalities from continuing and implementing stricter mitigation efforts. The masking order will remain until the state reaches the benchmark of 70% of Pennsylvanians aged 18 and older being fully vaccinated. All Pennsylvanians ages 16 and older are eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine. The Governor’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic remains in place.
