Perseverance, tenacity, endurance – these are all qualities that Broadway stars must have to perform in 450 shows a year, which amounts to eight shows a week. In order to give their best performance at every show, actors and actresses need to be in top physical and mental shape. PSBA members had the privilege of hearing from Phantom of the Opera’s lead soprano Raquel Suarez-Groen during PSBA’s May 7 Keynote Webinar episode. She discussed how her performance preparation strategies have translated to helping her cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and how she is using those techniques to help others.
