Upcoming grant opportunities
The deadline to apply for CTE Supplemental Equipment Grants is quickly approaching — applications are due January 31, 2020! The 2019-2020 PA budget provides the opportunity for school districts and career and technical centers to purchase equipment to prepare students for their field. The annual STOP School Violence (SSV) Grant Program recently began accepting applications. The SSV Grant Program is designed to improve school security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to quickly recognize and respond to violent attacks, mitigate risk exposure and prevent acts of violence. Up to $10 million in total funding is available for an anticipated 20 awards that can last up to 3 years. Funding amounts will vary based on the type of project proposed.
