Robert I. “Bob” Miller, longtime school board director at Penn Hills School District and former PSBA president, passed away on December 27 at the age of 90. In addition to his 26 years of school board service, Miller served on the board of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit from 1976 – 1986. In 1982, he helped establish the Pennsylvania School District Liquid Asset Fund. From 1999 to 2012, he served as a director and officer at the Pennsylvania School Board Association Insurance Trust.
