Education leaders celebrate Gov. Wolf’s support of public education

Wolf’s event at the PA Capitol on July 16, where he highlighted his commitment to Pennsylvania’s children and their future. Attendees celebrated the governor's continuing investment in education over the past five years, including a $1.4 billion increase in education funding from pre-k through college, nearly $800 million for basic education, $140 million for special education, and $40 million for career and technical education provided by school districts. The recently enacted state budget includes increases of $160 million for basic education, $50 million for special education, and $10 million for career and technical education.
