Commonwealth Education Blueprint – Phase II
The Commonwealth Education Blueprint project is a plan to develop and implement a statewide vision for the future of public education in Pennsylvania. The Blueprint is a collaborative effort of organizations and individuals that represent the many faces of public education. Please read more about the Blueprint project and see the Phase I report here.
PSBA is pleased to announce Phase II of the Blueprint, focused on carrying out the work of Phase I with specific recommendations for education through 2038. Phase II will include a workgroup meeting in Harrisburg on Sunday, July 14, through Monday, July 15.
The work of Phase II will include identifying obstacles school entities face in reaching the vision of Phase I, as well as developing specific recommendations for school entities, legislators, and others to work together toward the vision of providing an equitable, exceptional public education. If you are interested in participating in Phase II of the Blueprint project as a part of the workgroup meeting in July, please contact heather.masshardt@psba.org by June 27 with your name, school entity or organization, and contact information. Participants will be selected to provide a broad range of experience in all levels and subject areas of public education, as well as representation from across the commonwealth.
