Register your students and teacher-chaperons for the 38th annual Student Delegate Program at the Holiday Inn Grantville/Hershey, Oct. 15-17, held in conjunction with the 2008 PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference. Students will experience the Power of More during the program as they get to hear renowned motivational speakers and educators. They also will learn about how school boards work and will be able to share their ideas with school board members and administrators. Student delegates will present their views on the hot topics that they will discuss prior to the Student Simulated School Board Meeting. The mock school board is comprised of school directors, a superintendent and teacher-chaperons. Act quickly, because registration is limited to the first 100 districts that sign up! Each district is invited to enroll two students, who must be accompanied by a teacher-chaperon. Registration deadline is Sept. 5. Visit psba.org for more information. |
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE:Registration is open from Noon-4:30 on Wednesday, followed by an orientation program at 3-5 p.m. Students and advisors who arrive earlier will haveplenty of time to tour the Education Excellence Fair and the Exhibit Hall, which are open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday. |
