PSBA, through its various programs, strives to provide the school leadership team with the tools they need to meet the responsibilities of school governance and leadership.

PROGRAM INFORMATIONRegistrationRegistration is limited to the first 100 districts Fax or mail your form to PSBA as soon as possible to reserve space for your students. (You may reserve space until Sept. 5 and provide specific student and teacher-chaperon names by Sept. 19 – see registration form.) To reserve space only, you must use the PDF registration form. Students and teacher-chaperons will be housed at the Holiday Inn Grantville/Hershey, approximately 15 miles from the Hershey Convention Center where all adult programming takes place. Students will participate in presenting a workshop for adult delegates on Thursday, will participate in the School Leadership Banquet on Thursday evening and will attend the Friday morning Closing Session of the conference, all at the Hershey Convention Center. CommutersIf you choose to commute, you must register at the PSBA Student Delegate Program registration desk in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Grantville/Hershey from 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15. Commuters are entitled to all meals, and the official name badge is your admission to programs and exhibits. All programming is at the Holiday Inn Grantville/Hershey unless noted. |
Special Notes1. Each district is invited to enroll two students, who must be accompanied by a teacher-chaperon. Board members, superintendents or other administrators should not assume the responsibility of being a chaperon. 2. Registration will be open from Noon-3 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the lobby of the Holiday Inn, Grantville/Hershey. 3. The registration fee is all-inclusive (lodging, materials, entertainment and meals). Return the reservation form to PSBA offices no later than Friday, Sept. 5 (this is a FIRM deadline). 4. All student and teacher-chaperons will be housed at the Holiday Inn Grantville/ Hershey. All reservations for students are double occupancy until the room block is filled (students from your district may be housed with those from other districts); if the block is filled, it may be necessary to house students in triple occupancy. Teacher-chaperons are housed in single occupancy. Check-in time is 3 p.m. 5. Hotel reservations and cancellations MUST go through PSBA offices. DO NOT CALL THE HOLIDAY INN GRANTVILLE/HERSHEY FOR RESERVATIONS OR CHANGES. 6. Curfew: At midnight, students are expected to be out of all public areas of the hotel and in their own rooms by 1 a.m. 7. Dress for the program is casual (but not tattered), except for the Wednesday dinner and Thursday banquet when jackets and ties are required for young men and appropriate comparable attire for young ladies. |
