For Exhibitors | Forms | Publications Contest

The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is pleased once again to sponsor the Educational Publications Contest. Beginning in 1969, the contest has recognized achievements by hundreds of local public educational agencies.

For 2008, eligible publications will cover a 15-month period from May 1, 2007, through Aug. 1, 2008. You are encouraged to enter as many of your district’s publications as you wish – but do so quickly.

Remember – the deadline is Friday, Aug. 1, 2008. For information, contact PSBA at (800) 932-0588, ext. 3326. (Contest Entry Form)

PSBA is the sponsoring agent for the contest and does not enter into the judging or the evaluation. Entry fees charged for the contest cover only the expenses associated with the contest.

Winners will be showcased in the “Award of Excellence” display during the PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference in Hershey at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, Oct. 14-17. Winners will be announced in the School Leader News and notified by mail.

How to submit an entry

1. There are nine separate categories. You may enter as many of these categories as you wish. Fee is $15 per entry per category. Make checks payable to the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. (Contest Entry Form)

2. Entries submitted must have been produced by your entity between May 1, 2007, and Aug. 1, 2008. School district calendars and other publications produced for a school district by an intermediate unit do not qualify as a school district entry.

4. NO entries will be returned.

5. Judging will be conducted by an outside panel of experts.
