Policy on the Web

If a school district has a need, chances are that PSBA has a service, expert or program to meet that need.

The Policy on the Web Program is available only to members of PSBA's Policy Services.

Easy Access
Quick access is provided by placing a link on your district's web page. Access can also be gained through the Member's Only section of the PSBA website. All online manuals are hosted on PSBA's server.

Powerful Search Capabilities
All online manuals contain a powerful search engine. Search options include policy number or name, key word, phrase, index or table of contents. Users can easily maneuver throughout the policy by clicking on the highlighted search results.

Online Policy Maintenance
The Policy on the Web Program offers unlimited revisions and additions throughout the contract year. All updates are posted quickly.

Security
Policies posted to the web are in PDF format. Policies can be read and printed, but not altered. PSBA updates the online manual as changes or additions are received from the official contact at the school entity.

Cost
Initial online posting fee is $2,500-$3,000 (payable in two installments over two fiscal years), with an annual $400 online maintenance fee. Policy on the Web members must also maintain membership in the Policy Maintenance Program.

Policy Review/Policy on the Web
It's vital for online policies to be current with state and federal laws and regulations, and current school operations. PSBA strongly recommends policy manuals be reviewed for compliance prior to posting manuals to the web.
