Safety Committee Training
If a school district has a need, chances are that PSBA has a service, expert or program to meet that need.
| In order to maintain the certification of your safety committee, or if you are in the process of forming a safety committee, 100% of the members must receive training from a "qualified provider" on an annual basis (once during the workers' compensation policy period between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008).
We are now providing the training of safety committees via web conferencing. There is no charge for this service. To receive training via web conferencing you will need a lap top computer connected to the Internet and to an LCD projector, and a speaker phone at your meeting room location. Schedule your training now for one of the dates and time (10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.) now. Space is limited for each scheduled training date and time. If your safety committee has not received the state required training during the current policy period, or are not going to be receiving the training elsewhere, please select a date and time from the following list, and then contact Janelle Grosser at 866-401-6600, ext. 111, to schedule your training.
