As a newly elected school director, you have
assumed membership in PSBA, an association created
especially for school directors in Pennsylvania.
PSBA is a member-based organization that serves public education through different parts of the school district and community. Your association wants to see you succeed in all of your responsibilities as a newly elected school director. PSBA serves you, the individual school board member, in many ways including:
- Training and educational workshops.
- Publications that focus on educational news and trends.
- PSBA staff who are available to answer questions whenever you need them.
PSBA also serves the school board as a whole by helping them develop policies, search for the best school administrators and superintendent, as well as training programs on collective bargaining.
Not only do we represent the 4,509 school directors across the state in 501 school districts, we also are a valuable school law, community and public relations resource for school solicitors, superintendents and other member school administrators, intermediate units, career and technical schools, legislators and governmental agencies.
