The PSBA Research Inquiry on School Board Organization and Operations is conducted every three years to compile information on how boards operate, engage the community and provide opportunities for student representation. The 2006 data were compiled from 250 responses (50%) "of the 500 school districts surveyed. Therefore, percentages are based on the total number of responses, not on the total number of districts.
