George Joseph ESQ.
Joseph is an attorney and shareholder in the law firm of Quinn, Buseck, Leemhuis, Toohey & Kroto Inc., where he also serves as president of the firm. His practice is limited to school and municipal law, labor and employment and workers’ compensation. He personally represents three local school districts and the local intermediate unit. Joseph also handles legal matters for nonpublic diocesan schools in the Diocese of Erie. He earned degrees from Dickinson College and the Dickinson School of Law and currently is president of the General Alumni Association of the Dickinson School of Law. Joseph is a member of the Erie Co., Pennsylvania and American Bar associations and the PBA Education Law Section. He also served as the Erie Co. Bar Association’s Liaison to the PBA’s Project PEACE initiative, which introduced programs of peer mediation into elementary school throughout the commonwealth. Joseph received the ECBA President’s Award in 2002 for his efforts that resulted in peer mediation training for 22 schools in the Erie area. He currently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of Family Services of Northwestern PA and has been a frequent presenter at PSBA’s Spring Legal Roundup programs.
