PSBA Board of Directors
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
Region 6: Kathy Swope
Swope currently is president of the Lewisburg Area Board of School Directors (Union Co.), having served six years as vice president. She’s been a board member since 1999. She served as PSBA assistant regional director for two years and as PSBA county coordinator for five years. Swope has been a board delegate to the PSBA Legislative Policy Council for eight years. She served for three years on the Hemlock Girl Scout Council Board of Directors and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dragon Foundation. She presently is a full-time student at Susquehanna University, majoring in elementary education with a minor in political science with a pre-law focus.
