PSBA Board of Directors
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
Region 5: Janice R. Metzgar
Representing the Huntingdon Area school board since 1992, Janice has been president since 2001. She also was vice president in 1999 and 2000. She has chaired and served on various board committees, and as a delegate to the association's Legislative Policy Council from 1997-2005. Janice was her district's PSBA Representative for five years, and has served on the Federal Relations Network for a year. In 2005, Janice participated in PSBA's Annual Conference and Audit committees. She works as accounting, billing and collections manager for an ophthalmologist, and is active in a variety of community programs.
