The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
BARBARA L. BOLAS
NSBA President
For almost 20 years, Barbara has been a member of the Upper St. Clair school board (Allegheny Co.). Her service includes two terms as president. She has been legislative representative since 1994, and was PSBA president in 2001. In addition, Barbara was elected to the office of NSBA Northeast Region Director in 2001 and 2004. She holds a degree from the State University of New York at Brockport, and has graduate credits from the University of Pittsburgh.
